FEBRUARY 2004  NEWSLETTER

Where is winter? Anybody seen it? Guess those six words are probably being spoken just about everywhere, around here anyway! Obviously with the lack of snow our sport of snowmobiling has been put on somewhat of a hold pattern for the moment. There has been some riding but very very limited in this area. Grooming has been limited due to a lack of snow. We need a serious Œnoreaster, but at this point I guess we would take 6 or 8 inches of anything, as long as we could groom it! Pray to the snow Gods, will ya?

Obviously there is not too much going on at this point to report on. We did donate $400 to the Easter Seals Ride-In this year. We are still waiting on snow for a club picnic/ride. We will keep you informed if and when this happens.

We now have steel travel coffee mugs for sale. They are 15 oz., silver/steel with the new club logo on the front and a hard plastic snap in lid. The cost is $15.00 and this will cover the cost of shipping if they need to be sent via mail. We only have 34 left so be sure to either e-mail us if you would like one or give us a call and we will hold one for you. For those of you receiving this newsletter via e-mail, I have attached a copy of the mug for you to check out. Those of you receiving it via snail mail will have a picture on your copy.

We have proceeded forward with the possible purchase of a new Tucker 1000 for the Gilford side of the lake. We have submitted an RTP grant application and will not know the outcome for a few months. Obviously the purchase of this new groomer will hinge on the grant approval. That is about all we have for this month. Pray for snow!
